It was - beyond expectation!
Alhamdulillah. I've been looking forward to be in this situation since my Part 1. It's true, people who didn't know your background, your previous failure, will never have bad perception on you. I am far more than grateful to be in this batch of Year 5 architecture - none of these lecturers for design subject have known my previous education failure. So to work with them, it's like being a new born baby - full with opportunity without being judged.
And alhamdulillah just now, did my second crit with external architects, they both love my project and even gave the most flattering comment I've ever received. Alhamdulillah Ya Allah. Since the first crit, I was given "impressive" for my presentation and "very thoughtful" for my project idea. And today, again he said "I am very impressed with you presentation. If there is another Masyerin in this world, you are the one who can replace him" .
Fuu. I felt like grabbing my phone & call my parents to share the moment.
Today, in the very end of architecture studies, finally, I am coming to an A for studio subject. At least that was what my studiomaster was saying. And I do hope this success will continue to my final semester which is going to start soon - September 2013 and off to be an architect in 2014! Amin.
